Ultra laser cutting & Fabrication Limited is a fully Accredited New Zealand owned and operated company located in Wiri , Auckland We are presently expanding our vision to become a leading plate processing plant. We now seek a Press Brake operator who can operate the press brake with minimum supervision . Role Type : Full-time Permanent, 40 HOURS per week Workdays : Monday to Friday Work Time : 7.30 A.M – 4 PM ( Negotiable ) YOU MAY NEED TO WORK OVERTIME – Depending on work demand . ( YOU MAY NEED TO WORK ON WEEKENDS IF REQUIRED) Reporting to : W/shop Supervisor Primary purpose: - Perform Duties on a CNC press brake machine - Follow instructions on day-to-day work in the workshop. Job Description Key Responsibilities:  Operate the press brake under minimal supervision.  Experience with CNC touch screen Press brake controller Delem 58T software is required  Fabricate products as per engineering drawings and parameters.  Perform correct set-up procedures for folding operations for the Press Brake.  Prioritize production runs to ensure customer orders are finished on time.  maximize machine productivity.  Ability to communicate well in written and verbal (English)  maximize material use by applying proper folding techniques and tooling. General duties  Inspect all manufactured parts following work in process.  Carry out loading and unloading of material.  Prepare product for shipment when requested.  Pack items for shipment, manually, or using hoist.  Operate Forklift when necessary. ( Forklift license preferred ( Training will be given )  Inspect and maintain press brake  Carry our routine machine maintenance.  Apply/follow all Health and Safety procedures in the workplace.  Follow all company rules and policies.  Keep work area clean and organized.  Help maintain a positive team culture.  Liaise with office staff  Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.  Ensure you adhere to Health and Safety policies.  Flexible schedule is required you may have to do overtime.  May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require  May perform other duties as assigned by management. Salary - Pay : $ 25 - 30 per hour ( depending on experience ) - Kiwi saver - Sick leave - Annual leave. Experienced Fibre Laser Operator Primary purpose: - Perform Duties on a CNC Fiber Laser machine - Follow instructions on day-to-day work in the workshop. Job description  Knowledge of Cypcut and Hypcut is advantageous  Sheet metal and fabrication experience is preferred  Ability to read shop drawings and specifications.  Perform correct set-up procedures for cutting operations.  Knowledge of simulation procedures, establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.  Set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.  Knowledge about / selecting cutting gases used during laser cutting operation.  Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.  Ability to communicate well in written and verbal (English) General duties  Inspect all manufactured parts following work in process.  Carry out loading and unloading of material.  Prepare product for shipment when requested.  Pack items for shipment, manually, or using hoist.  Operate Forklift when necessary. Salary - Pay : $ 25 - 30 per hour ( depending on experience ) - Kiwi saver - Sick leave - Annual leave. 3 Ton Pick up Driver / Workshop Helper Job description: - Ability to drive a manual 3 Ton Pick up truck ( manual car license required ) - As a workshop helper - you will assist in a variety of tasks. • Properly receiving and storing of steel sheets • Assist the Operator with setups and operations on laser machine and brake press. • Load and unload items from truck ,machines, carts • Works under direction from the machine operators and supervisor. • Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of laser cut parts, using hand tools and power tools. • Help with packing/ wrapping of finished goods on pallets and making ready for delivery • Cross Training across the Laser machine / Press brake possibility. • Assist operators through cleaning of work areas/ machines/ equipment and help with minor repairs . • Keeps workspace clean in accordance to housekeeping standards • Sweep, mop, and remove debris. • Performs other work as assigned by Supervisory staff. • Ability to work safely and without injury with hand tools in an environment with metal and sharp objects • Forklift license required – But not essential – Training will be provided • Usually work regular business hours but may be required to work overtime to meet deadlines. • Any other duties as assigned by management. Requirements • The employee will be responsible and follow company rules, procedures & safety guidelines. • Hard worker , no wasting time • Has good attendance and punctuality • performs job duties within expected periods of time in a safe manner. • Able to communicate in English both verbal and written • Can work collaboratively and productively in a team-environment. • Experience in metal workshop/ fabrication background.( preferred but not essential ) Physical requirements: • Should be reasonably fit, strong, and healthy. • Able to lift 20 kgs frequently during the work shift. Skills and Competencies: • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and at a consistent pace. • Ability to learn new tasks and learn to operate basic production equipment. • Strong observation skills, • Supportive team player • Communicates well with all staff Pay : $ 25 per hour /Kiwi saver/ sick leave / annual leave.
