Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker or Community Support Worker to join our team. You will work closely with individuals and families, especially those affected by family violence, to foster safety, strengthen family well-being, and support positive parenting and relationship skills.
You are qualified and dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of migrant families. Here’s what will help you excel in this role:
Language Skills:  roficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, as well as English.
Experience & Knowledge: Strong understanding of family violence, safety planning, and risk management.
Community Insights: Familiarity with local social systems and resources.
Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Personal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, reliability, and professional boundaries.
Technological Proficiency: Skilled in PC software products and new technologies.
