DFS stores are located in some of the world's most iconic destinations - each selected for its unique appeal. We are excited to announce the re-opening of our Auckland International Airport stores. We are currently on the hunt for experienced and highly motivated Sales Associates to join our DFS team. Trading hours: 5:30-22:30 we are looking for Night shifts: 14:10-22:40 may will change depends on the flight time The role:As the Sales associate, you will be the brand ambassador and a smiling face of DFS. You will work on the most important role on the sales floor and be the first direct conduit between our products and our Customers. You will build customer loyalty and relationships by challenging yourself with sales and productivity targets. Selling via the Best Customer ExperienceAssist customers in selecting, purchasing, and refunding merchandise while demonstrating your excellence in customer service Complete customer transactions in a professional and timely manner Identify customer’s temperaments and recommend products that suit their style Respond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner; refer to the Manager on Duty if appropriate Assist other sales staff in peak periods to ensure customers in all areas are attended to promptly, with waiting time reduced to the minimum Floor and Product PresentationEnsure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and DFS requirements Maintain reasonable stock levels of all merchandise in the department Be familiar with the store layout; direct customers to merchandise, services, and facilities as appropriate Assist the Management team in the coordination and execution of merchandising activities, e.g. inventory management, promotional activities, and merchandise stock flow Key RequirementsMinimum 1 year’s sales or cashiering experience in a retail environment Proficient with handling a POS register machine Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment High energy level, have a positive approach to job and group responsibilities Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays (morning/ nights shift for the airport) Fluency in the English language BenefitsFS New Zealand offers world-class training for employees who demonstrate the values and commitment that DFS aspires to We also offer a competitive remuneration package A very generous staff discount and opportunities for regular rewards and commission.
